Learn how to target notes in your improvisation to make a more cohesive sounding improv. We will also discuss how NOT to be your own worst critic so you can thrive at improvisation.

Intermediate Jazz and Blues Improv

This course will cover creating lines over common forms like the blues and rhythm changes. I will also show you some of my tricks to take your improvisation “in or out” of the harmony to get an advanced sound. We will deal with how to improvise over ballads and uptempo tunes.
