You can use partial words when searching.

There are (2) ways to gain access to the lessons, classes and coaching at Jazzedge Academy.

  1. to access lessons, classes or coaching. Or,
  2. Purchase Academy credits to "cherry pick" lessons or classes you want to study.
You are not currently logged in to the Academy.
  1. Set aside 30-45 minutes for daily practice sessions.
  2. Warm up with some finger exercises to prepare for playing chords.
  3. Practice arpeggiating chord tones, starting from different notes such as the top or bottom notes, and using different patterns such as outer-inner or alternating.
  4. Experiment with adding the pedal to create different sounds and styles.
  5. Refer to the Triad Primer lesson or the Piano Accompaniment Essentials lesson for more ideas and techniques.
  6. Review the recommended lessons below
  7. Practice regularly and monitor your progress to see how you are improving in arpeggiating chords and playing with different styles.
  8. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things with your playing.
  9. Remember to take breaks and rest your fingers to avoid straining them.
  10. Enjoy the process of learning and improving your chord playing skills.
