One of the most famous piano melodies of all-time by one of music’s greatest composers – you will definitely want to have this piece in your repertoire! In this lesson you will learn the signature theme from this piece using a very specific and efficient practice method which focuses on three areas to ensure that the piece is learned properly: reading the correct notes, rhythms, and fingerings. Students will also master some challenging technical aspects of the piece, such as reading and playing pedal markings and executing some unfamiliar fingerings.

In this fun, up-tempo classical piece, you will learn a practice process that focuses on three areas of primary concern: learning the correct notes, learning the correct rhythms, and using the proper fingering. This practice process is meant to train you to work through such pieces in a very efficient, organized, and methodical manner and can be applied to any piece of music you are studying. We will place significant importance on learning hands separately before playing hands together, and work through the music in small pieces that are later merged to create larger phrases. In a separate chapter, you will learn all of the various “musicality details” that breathe life into the music.

From the Notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach This famous melody is a beautiful piece to add to your piano repertoire. You will learn this piece in a step-by-step manner, using a practice process to focus on three primary areas of concern: learning the correct notes, the correct rhythms, and the correct fingering. In a very efficient and methodical procedure, you will learn how to break the music into small sections and then combine those small sections to create larger phrases, working this way to completion.

In addition to providing some of the most memorable melodies and piano repertoire, classical music is tremendously helpful and essential to developing proper technique and hand independence. In this lesson, you will learn a beautiful Minuet by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and uses a very specific practice process. This process focuses on three areas of importance: reading the correct notes, playing the correct rhythms (and practicing with a metronome), and the importance of using the correct fingering.
