Basic Vocal Workout

If you want to learn to sing, or improve your voice, this is the lesson to start with. In this lesson, Jazzedge teacher Anna Rizzo will teach you the basics of singing, the different ranges and techniques to warmup and strengthen your voice.

Breath Awareness for Vocalists

A lesson to develop awareness of how we are breathing, learn to draw deeper, more supported breaths and increase breath capacity.

Posture for Vocalists

Without good posture, your singing will suffer. In this lesson Anna will show you how to keep the body in proper alignment to support singing along with exercises where we focus on maintain proper alignment while singing.

Vocal Health

In this lesson we cover how to maintain and improve our vocal health before issues arise, what things may negatively impact our vocal health and how to build and work towards belting in a healthy and safe way that doesn’t strain the voice.

Vocal Registers

An introduction to the four vocal registers, with a focus on Chest and Head Voice/ Falsetto, where most singers spend the majority of time singing and transitioning between. Some exercises to feel the difference between our chest vs head voice, and to transition between the two registers
