Int/Adv Jazz & Blues Improv 1

In this first lesson, you'll learn about rhythm in improvisation and how to create improvisation lines using proper fingering and dynamics. You'll also learn some improvisation exercises.

Intermediate Jazz and Blues Improv

This course will cover creating lines over common forms like the blues and rhythm changes. I will also show you some of my tricks to take your improvisation “in or out” of the harmony to get an advanced sound. We will deal with how to improvise over ballads and uptempo tunes.
