Upper Structure Triads - My Ship

Using the standard "My Ship" we will work on Upper Structure Triads. UST's (for short) are the life-blood of advanced reharmonizations and you want to work on these using ballads at first. This lesson will show you how to incorporate them into your arrangements.

Jazz Piano Theory - Level 3 Intermediate

In this level we will be covering the basics of reharmonization and arranging, including Dominant motion, tritone substitution, related ii chords, voicings and chord structures. I suggest that you review this material a lot before moving on to the next level where we will focus more on creating arrangements.
