    Willie has toured both the U.S. and Europe as clinician and performer. He is a graduate of the well renowned Berklee College of Music. He has studied in New York with Fred Hersch and in Boston with Ray Santisi. Willie has produced three recordings as bandleader and his music, has been featured radio stations nationwide and headlined at the famed SXSW music festival.

    Willie is also the founder of Jazzedge Academy, an online teaching website that makes it easy to learn Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Rock, Pop and Funk styles of piano, keyboard and

    The Jazzedge method has taught students from all around the globe. By combining foundational and fun'dational elements, Willie's students are able to learn how to become a self-expressive pianist very quickly.

    • It is recommended that students have a minimum of 1 year of piano study
    • Students should know the notes of the keyboard
    • Students should know at least basic triads
    • Students should know how to play at a minimum the C, F and G major scales hands together

    • You'll learn how to create an improvisation (both beginner and advanced techniques)

    • Learn the theory behind each song for a fuller understanding of what you are playing
    • Learn how to improvise over each song
    • Learn techniques that let you create your own arrangements
    • Learn what is required to master this style
    At the end of the course you have the option to receive a certificate of completion. To receive your certificate, you must: hand in all assignments, pass each quiz with a 70 or above and participate in the end of course recital.
