Advanced Jazz Theory

In this collection, we will go through each mode of the scale on Melodic Minor Harmony. I will give you examples from some jazz standards, but also show you how I like to use these chords in my playing. You will discover many interesting sounds and it is great to learn this scale no matter what style of music you play. We will als cover more of the minor ii-V-i, parallelism and how to use these chords for reharmonization. The Dominant Bebop Scale works really well over dominant 7th chords and you will learn how to create and play 2-5-1 licks using the Dominant Bebop Scale and rootless chords in your left hand.
