The 30-Day Piano Playbook

Thirty days. One thing to practice each day.

Free, and yours to keep. 3 hr 35 min of structured lessons that tell you what to do at the piano tonight — rhythm, chords, improvising — instead of leaving you to guess.

Taught by Willie Myette, teaching piano online since 2000.

Before you start.

What is included in the Academy Starter program?

Over six hours of instruction. The 30-Day Piano Playbook covers rhythm, chords, reading and improvising across thirty structured lessons — days 1 to 19 suit an outright beginner, days 20 to 30 build on it. Starter Plus adds three blueprints: Blues Piano (shuffle, swing and stride, with the accompaniments and licks that make a blues sound like yours), Rock Piano (playing the songs you already listen to, melody or accompaniment), and Super Simple Standards (jazz and pop standards using chord shells — fast to play, and the foundation for fuller arrangements later).

Is the free one really free?

Yes. No card, no trial that quietly turns into a subscription, and no expiry date on the free Playbook. If you never buy anything, you still keep it.

How long do I have access to the content?

The free Playbook does not expire. Starter Plus gives you 90 days of full access from the date of purchase — watch everything, download the resources, and work through the plan at your own pace.

Is this a subscription? Will I be charged again?

No. Starter Plus is a single payment for 90 days of access. Nothing recurs, nothing auto-renews, there are no hidden fees, and there is nothing to cancel.

Will I lose my progress after 90 days?

No. Completed lessons, chapter progress and favourites are permanently saved in your account. If you join the Academy later you pick up exactly where you left off — your practice history and achievements are yours to keep regardless of membership.

What happens after my 90 days of access ends?

Access to the Starter Plus blueprints ends. The free Playbook stays, your progress stays, and you can join Focus or Premier whenever you want to carry on with the full library.

Is this program suitable for complete beginners?

It is built for them. The Playbook starts at the beginning — where your hands go, how to count it — and adds one idea at a time. Most people here are adults who were told at some point that they had started too late.

How much time does it take a day?

Each day is one short lesson and one thing to practise. Twenty minutes at the piano is enough to make progress, and the plan is built around that rather than around long sessions you will not have time for.

Do I have to follow the plan in order?

The Playbook is in order for a reason and it is worth following. The blueprints are not — start with whichever style you actually want to play.

Can I access the lessons on my phone or tablet?

Yes — phone, tablet, laptop, whatever is nearest the piano. Log in from any device with an internet connection.

How do I get to my lessons after signing up?

Straight away, from your account. Log in and the Starter material is there, organised in order, with your progress tracked as you go.

Can I upgrade to a full membership later?

Yes. Focus or Premier opens the full library, the practice paths and the technique curriculum, and your Starter progress carries over.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

All sales are final on Starter Plus. That is exactly why the 30-Day Playbook is free — work through some of it first and judge the teaching before you pay for anything.

What if I need help or have questions?

Support can help with your account or anything technical. Teaching help — someone listening to your playing and telling you what to fix — is what the Premier membership is for.
