Cookie Policy
On this page
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use them to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Academy is used. This page explains which ones we use and how to control them.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in, secure forms against cross-site request forgery, remember your cart during checkout, and support page caching. Without them, you could not log in or take a lesson.
Preferences
These remember choices you make so the app behaves the way you left it — light or dark theme, whether you prefer the Library and collection lessons as cards or a list, and which one-time messages you have dismissed. They hold a setting, not an identity.
Analytics
These help us understand which lessons are used and where students get stuck, so we can teach better. Where required, we ask for your consent before setting them.
Embedded content
Lesson video, community features, and other embedded content are delivered by third parties that may set their own cookies when that content loads. Those cookies are governed by the providers' own policies.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break login and playback. If a consent banner is shown in your region, you can change your choices there at any time.
Do Not Track
Browsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for responding to them, so we do not currently respond to them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
