A New Look

I've been building something, and it's close enough now that I want to tell you about it.

A completely rebuilt Academy is coming in September. Same lessons, same teaching — a much better place to do the work.

Here's some of what's coming:

Your direction for the day. Instead of opening the site and wondering what to work on, you'll get one focused thing to practice, drawn from a path you choose based on your goals and your level.

Everything in one place. Your practice log, your streak, your repertoire, your notes, and the lessons you're partway through — all on one dashboard instead of scattered across the site.

Practice that gets tracked. Log a session in seconds. See where your time is actually going, which pieces you're neglecting, and how you're progressing over months rather than guessing.

Notes and bookmarks inside the lesson. Save a moment in a video and jump straight back to it. Keep your notes with the lesson they belong to.

A cleaner library. Faster search, clearer collections, and recommendations that follow an actual sequence instead of dumping everything on you at once.

I'll be posting updates here as things get finished, including a look at the new dashboard before it goes live.

If you have thoughts on what would make the Academy better for you, I'd genuinely like to hear them — head over to Community Thoughts and tell me there.
