Willie has toured both the U.S. and Europe as clinician and performer. He is a graduate of the well renowned Berklee College of Music. He has studied in New York with Fred Hersch and in Boston with Ray Santisi.     • Creating a simple arrangement from a lead sheet using shells
  • Class 2
    • Filling out the shell arrangement by adding chord tones and tensions
  • Class 3
    • Creating an arrangement with rootless chords for group playing
  • Class 4
    • Accompany yourself (or others) while singing using chords
  • Class 5
    • Bassline creation for solo piano or to accompany yourself or others
  • Class 6
    • How to approach improvisation over the song with some licks and ideas written out for you
  • To create an arrangement from a lead sheet
  • To improvise over the song
  • To be able to accompany yourself or others while singing
At the end of the course you have the option to receive a certificate of completion. To receive your certificate, you must: hand in all assignments, pass each quiz with a 70 or above and participate in the end of course recital.
